Day 1 : Friday : VALUABLE MEDICAL LESSONS:

Subsequently, we will be virtually transported to the operating rooms, grabbing the chance to admire modern surgical procedures. Part of the afternoon will be dedicated to cases that are frequently seen in internal medicine. Neurology will then take the baton to reveal the multidimensional aspects of an extremely common symptom: cephalalgia. Finally, the curtain falls on a topic on current affairs: viruses and pandemics.

Day 2 : Saturday : FACING COMMON MEDICAL ISSUES:

On the second day of the congress, we will encounter common issues in the everyday practice of Surgery, Rheumatology, Cardiology, Orthopedics and Psychiatry. We will have an overview of the main procedures, techniques and complications of daily operations, through the eyes of a general surgeon and the spectrum of robotic surgery. We will also dive deep into SLE, one of the most commonly seen rheumatic diseases. What do medical experts need to know in general about this disorder? How does it affect other organs? What are the newest medical advances regarding the diagnosis and therapeutic tools we have on hand?
Later on, we will be informed about the emerging trends in the field of cardiology and the red flags young psychiatric patients present with, in the emergency department. How to detect and approach these cases and when hospitalisation is indicated. We will then learn all about sports injuries. What are some of the most common medical challenges athletes face?
What are the types and mechanisms of injury? How do orthopedics manage the treatment and aftercare? The aim of modern medicine is to integrate evolving knowledge into every day practice. At the end of the day, we will face a paradigm of that practice from our special keynote speaker, Professor Stellos Konstantinos, who is going to captivate us with his words on the role of RNA adjustments in the development of science and how they will affect health and diseases in the future.

Day 3 : Sunday : MEDICINE IN THE MODERN ERA:

Modern Medicine, also known as allopathic or western medicine, is the most advanced, scientifically based, and statistically approved therapeutic system and diagnostic methodology. What does it actually involve?
How can simulation techniques facilitate diagnosis and treatment in modern clinical practice?
What’s new in mental health management? What’s the social impact on psychological issues? What’s the connection between physical and mental health? Can digital psychiatry be part of the treatment? What’s the role of psychotherapies? Maximising the efficiency of assisted reproduction: which factors should scientific society focus on? Is Artificial Intelligence incorporated into IVF? On the final day of the congress we will try to answer these questions and keep you posted on up to date advancements on a variety of medical specialties.
